How E3D collects, uses, and protects your information
E3D ("E3D," "we," "us") builds e3d.ai and the E3D Mobile iPhone app. This policy explains what data we collect across those products, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the controls you have over it.

§1 Information we collect
E3D Mobile is a read-only companion to e3d.ai: you browse market data, on-chain activity, and AI-written research. It does not connect a wallet or sign transactions, which keeps what we collect narrow. We collect information in three ways: what you give us directly, what the app sends us to function, and standard technical logs.

The mobile app does not collect
- Precise or background location
- Contacts, camera, or microphone access
- Private keys or seed phrases
- Third-party analytics or advertising identifiers
§2 How we use it
- Authenticate you and keep your session signed in
- Sync your watchlist and alert preferences across devices
- Deliver the push notifications you've opted into
- Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service, including detecting abuse
- Send account emails: verification codes, password resets, and, if you've opted in, the e3d.ai newsletter
- Process and manage web subscription billing
We do not use your data to train third-party AI models, and we do not sell it.
§3 Push notifications
If you turn on push alerts in Settings, the app registers your device with Apple's push service through Expo and gives us an opaque push token — a string that lets us address notifications to your device, not a device identifier we can use for anything else. Alongside it we store your alert category toggles, the watchlist addresses those alerts apply to, and basic delivery bookkeeping (app version, platform, last successful delivery, last error) so we can tell if alerts are failing to reach you.
You can turn any category off, or push alerts entirely, from Settings → Push Alerts at any time. Turning push off removes the device's push token from our systems.
§5 Retention & deletion
We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Email verification and password reset codes are short-lived and expire automatically. You can permanently delete your account and its associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account, which requires a double confirmation to prevent accidental loss.
§6 Security
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt before storage — we cannot read them, even internally. Sessions are authenticated with server-issued, HTTP-only cookies, and all traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we design and review our systems to keep your data protected.
§7 Children's privacy
E3D Mobile and e3d.ai are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at support@e3d.ai and we'll remove it.
§8 Your choices
- Access & correct — your email and preferences are visible and editable in Settings.
- Delete — remove your account and its data from Settings → Account.
- Push alerts — toggle categories or disable push entirely in Settings → Push Alerts.
- Newsletter — unsubscribe via the link in any newsletter email, or toggle it off in Settings.
- Data requests — email support@e3d.ai for a copy of your data or other privacy questions.
§9 Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you by email or an in-app notice. Continued use of E3D Mobile or e3d.ai after a change takes effect means you accept the updated policy.
