Learn how to swap Ethereum for E3D tokens using the built-in E3D platform tools or external exchanges.
The E3D Token is now available for trading on decentralized exchanges. To swap ETH for E3D, you'll need the token's contract address provided below:
Token Contract Address: 0x6488861b401F427D13B6619C77C297366bCf6386
You can also view detailed token information and track transaction activity on the Etherscan blockchain explorer. Visit the E3D Token page on Etherscan:
The E3D platform provides convenient built-in tools for swapping ETH to E3D tokens and staking your E3D tokens directly from the interface, without having to visit external exchanges.
Tip: The built-in tools provide the most streamlined experience with optimized gas fees (typically around $0.32 per transaction) compared to external exchanges.
If you don't have one already, install the MetaMask browser extension from the MetaMask website. Create a wallet and add some Ethereum to it.
There are multiple ways to access the E3D Swap dialog:
When the swap dialog opens, click the "Connect Wallet" button if you haven't connected already. Select MetaMask from the list of wallet providers.
Follow the prompts in the MetaMask popup to complete the connection process. You'll need to approve the connection to the E3D platform.
In the swap dialog:
Before proceeding:
Note: E3D's built-in swap tool uses Uniswap V3 router behind the scenes, which provides significantly lower fees than V2.
To stake your newly acquired E3D tokens and participate in protocol governance:
You can unstake your tokens at any time by returning to the Stake dialog and using the "Unstake" function.
After completing your transaction:
If you prefer to use external decentralized exchanges like Uniswap or SushiSwap, follow these instructions to acquire E3D tokens.
MetaMask is a popular Ethereum wallet available as a browser extension and mobile app. Download and install it from the MetaMask website, create a wallet, and add some Ethereum to it.
For Uniswap, visit the Uniswap Interface and click the "Connect Wallet" button in the top right corner.
For SushiSwap, visit SushiSwap and click the "Connect to a wallet" button.
Select MetaMask from the list of wallet providers and approve the connection request.
Important: When using Uniswap, make sure to use the V3 version for significantly lower gas fees. V3 is now the default on Uniswap.
The transaction will now be processed on the Ethereum network. This may take a few minutes depending on network congestion and the gas price you've set.
To view your E3D tokens in MetaMask:
Your E3D tokens should now appear in your MetaMask wallet.
Verify the Token Address: Always double-check that you're using the official E3D token address: 0x6488861b401F427D13B6619C77C297366bCf6386. Scammers may create tokens with similar names or symbols.
Beware of Phishing: Only access Uniswap and SushiSwap through their official websites or bookmarks you've verified. Don't click on links in emails, social media, or search results that might be spoofed.
Verify the Router Contract: When approving transactions, ensure you're interacting with the legitimate exchange router contracts. For Uniswap V3, it should be 0xE592427A0AEce92De3Edee1F18E0157C05861564.
Check Etherscan After Swapping: After completing a swap, verify the transaction on Etherscan to confirm you've received the correct token at the expected amount.
"Insufficient output amount" Error: This usually means the price moved unfavorably between the time you submitted and the transaction was processed. Try increasing your slippage tolerance (start with 0.5-1% and increase if needed).
Slippage Too Low: If your transaction keeps failing, your slippage tolerance might be too low. For less liquid pairs, you may need to set a higher slippage (1-3%), though this increases the risk of front-running.
Allowance Reset: If you've previously used a DEX with E3D, you may need to reset your token allowance. Look for "Reset" or "Revoke" buttons next to the approval option.
Stuck Transaction: If your transaction is pending for a long time, you can speed it up or cancel it through MetaMask by clicking on the pending transaction and selecting "Speed Up" or "Cancel".

After acquiring E3D tokens:
Gas Fees: All Ethereum transactions require gas fees paid to the network miners/validators, not to E3D. These fees vary based on network congestion and can range from a few dollars to significantly higher during peak times.
No Guaranteed Return: The value of E3D tokens fluctuates with market conditions. Neither buying nor staking E3D tokens guarantees any specific financial return. E3D tokens are utility tokens designed for use within the E3D platform ecosystem.
Tax Implications: Users are responsible for their own tax reporting and compliance. Token purchases, sales, swaps, and protocol distributions may have tax implications depending on your jurisdiction. E3D does not provide tax advice.
Risk Disclosure: Cryptocurrency transactions involve significant risk. Only use funds you can afford to lose. The E3D platform makes no guarantees regarding token value, liquidity, or protocol performance.
